you are okay with the current system we have in place. Chances are, you value a stable, majority government. The simpler the ballot, the better. Local representation being close is important to you. Most things in the electoral system already work well for you. If the system isn't broken, don't fix it!

First Past the Post

Under this system, as with all proportional representation system the percentage of the popular vote= the % of seats won in parliament. Unlike the other two proportional systems there is one MLA, and only slightly bigger district sizes. The proportional representation system closest of the three to first past the post.

Dual Member Proportional

Another variant of proportional representation, where the percentage of the popular vote= % of seats won in parliament. You want the most comprehensive ballot there is! You don't mind doing extra research as long as it is put to good use. You have a lot of opinions on the candidates, and want to rank your options. You don't mind having bigger districts.

Rural Urban Proportional

Another variant on the proportional representation system, where percentage of the popular vote= % of seats in parliament. You do not want to compromise your party affiliation with your individual candidate loyalty. You wish to choose those two separately. You don't mind expanding districts sizes, and slightly less face to face opportunities with your MPs.
