My Christmas Poem!

I know it's not very good, but it's Christmas so I thought this was appropriate 🎄

Christmas 🎄🔴⚪

The windows were lit in the gingerbread town

Twas a cold winters night, snow falling down

And the carrolers sang with an almighty cheer

'Thank goodness,' they laughed, 'for Christmas is here!"

The tree in town centre was happily dressed

With tinsel and baubles, twas looking it's best

And the stars in the sky were a beautiful sight

They loomed down fondly upon that night.

Red fabric stockings, hung above the fire

Excited young children trying hard not to tirer

For they would love to see St. Nick,
