- Sydney, Australia has had its heaviest rainfall since 1990, putting out severe bush fires that have been burning for months.

- At least 15 people have died after a boat carrying Rohingya refugees capsized in Bangladesh. 71 people have been recused and over 40 people are still missing.

- Bernie Sanders has won the New Hampshire primary election, with Buttigieg in second place and Klobuchar in third. Following the primary, Andrew Yang dropped out of the race.

- 1 person has been killed and 4 have been injured in a shooting in a Connecticut nightclub
