Of course, once the morning finally came, no one was allowed to open anything until the parents were up.

Then we'd spend the morning tearing through mountains of wrapping paper, reveling in our good fortune!

But now that we're all grown-up, things are a little different.

Sure, we all still want to get something for the holidays.

But it's just kind of nice to show someone how much they mean to you.

It's always fun finding something you just know your friend or family member will LOVE.

You're just SO excited about this perfect gift, but you know you can't spill the beans!

Then the day finally comes when you get to give your gift.

And they absolutely love it.

Being able to show someone that you care is pretty much the best thing ever.

That's what the holidays are all about.
