Freshman year V was always looking for an adventure. Armed with her spirit jerseys and fueled by Mediterranean bowls and brownie bites that she had snuck into her dorm room, many (including her BFF Em) would describe her as a girl on her way out of being basic. As this version of Vanessa, your social life is everything, and you have no problem imposing yourself on new, more quiet friends who could end up being the best friend you have ever had.

A Marching Jayhawk and proud Edmondite making her scene on the Hill, freshman year Emily was filled with lots of fun quirks. With a wardrobe comprised of mens' clothing, leggings, patterned socks and Keds, Vanessa used to describe her best as a "Teenage Boy." If you are this version of Emily, it's because you don't care what people think and love to spend your time either hammocking or playing the clarinet.

Sophomore year was during Emily's peak obsession with Ellen Degeneres and making Snapchat stories. Spending most of her time on the 2nd floor of Anschutz silently sobbing between bookshelves, Emily was constantly stressed with the pressures from her Financial Accounting class. If you are sophomore year Emily, it means that you love to stay updated with social media, but you still know how to settle down and study. Good for you!

Junior year V was a camera icon! Always dressing up and striking a pose, but that doesn't mean that she didn't go through a grunge phase. She definitely wasn't afraid to wear sweatpants to class. This grunge phase may have been a result of her dire involvement on campus. And let's not forget her big dreams of one day ditching the sweatpants and rocking a pencil skirt and pumps to work everyday. If you got junior year V, you are likely a dreamer!

During her fake senior year, you couldn't hold a conversation with Emily without hearing about Tax Accounting. "Hey Emily, can we hang out?" "No. I have tax." "Can I text you?" "Sorry... tax!" To blow off steam from tax, Emily loved to spend her time as the one behind the camera in all of Vanessa's photoshoots as well as some of her own artsy photos. If you are Fake Senior Emily, it might be because you finally got your own pet that you love or that you have transitioned from t-shirts to a more classy wardrobe.

Lucky you! You're grad student Emily. This version of Emily is constantly looking toward the future and can't wait for a life where she lives AND WORKS in New York. If you're senior year Emily, it's probably because you like adding new fashion trends to your closet such as chokers--or maybe you're on a secret mission to showing your hidden edgy side. You don't mind being more relaxed about school and filling your Google Calendar with fun events such as hitting up Sandbar on a Tuesday night.

Grad Student Emily

Senior year Vanessa is looking out on the future with big eyes as she anxiously steps toward the world of true adulthood, but that's not gonna stop her from letting loose and making the most of senior year! This might include taking classes like Ballet I and the Fundamentals of Flamenco. If you got senior year Vanessa, the world better look out because you are looking to take the world by a storm as soon as you figure out how you are going to do it.
