I’m not much of a drinker, so when I do have a tipple, taste is my top priority!
One thing I find that companies most often get wrong is non-alcoholic drinks. Whether they’re too sweet, too bitter, or too artificial-tasting, they either seem to be trying too hard or not hard enough.
So when I heard about Heineken’s 0.0 alcohol-free beer, I was intrigued to say the very least.
Unlike most non-alcoholic beers (that consist of carbonated drinks with flavours added to make them *taste* like beer), Heineken’s 0.0 is crafted like an ordinary beer and then has the alcohol removed from it.
The result? The 0.0 has the same characteristic refreshing fruity notes of Heineken original, but with a soft malty body.
