7 Reasons Why Christmas Is The Best Time Of Year

Halloween? Easter? No, no, no, no...Christmas is the best time of year and here is why!

1. It is officially CHRISTMAS! Which means you must be going crazy!

It is officially the beginning of the hype we all love ( I mean we started in August really) called CHRISTMAS!

This time of year always means a few things. Advent calendars, deadlines, secret santa and the constant playing of Mariah Carey. But it does also mean you get a 3 week break and lots of presents from people you love.

If you are one of those people who doesn't like this time of the year, well at least you can put on the Grinch outfit right?

2. The Christmas Extravaganza is here! Why haven't you got your ticket yet?

We all love a good party and there aren't many better than the annual Christmas Extravaganza!?

Your year has been full of worry and stress, and suddenly there is now this amazing chance for you to let go! To have fun and forget about that pesky 2pm deadline the next day (we joke of course, you really should have done that essay already obvs)

Remember that time before University, when Dinosaurs ruled the earth and Facebook was still cool...

Well Christmas allows you to head home and forget about everything! You don't need to do your own washing can stop living on Pot Noodles anymore. Your parents cook and clean for you, your siblings annoy you and your mum has probably already got the red carpet out right?

Eventually you realise 'Why did I come back here?' But just think of the free food and rent for now...

Whether it is your friends, family, pets or even a stranger, Christmas is the easiest chance for you to help others around you. Whether that is volunteering in a homeless shelter, giving amazing presents or just seeing someone you normally wouldn't.
