Thanksgiving Is Around The Corner And You Should Be Making Plans

Travelling just for the weekend isn't something everyone can do, but don't worry, here are some options for you to celebrate turkey day at UC San Diego.

Thanksgiving is a national holiday that commemorates the Harvest Festival by the Pilgrims in 1621, which originally celebrated to give thanks for the blessings of the harvest and the preceding year. Every year, thanksgiving feasts are held on the fourth Thursday of November which in this case is the upcoming 24th of November.

Although many of us come to the US with a very basic idea of what Thanksgiving is, celebrating this holiday is an all-American experience you can't miss. Even if you are from the US, just not from California, this is a new experience given it will look more like summer than fall for this celebration. Anyways, this is a day to share and give thanks for this amazing life.
