Seven Characters We Should Be More Like

You've heard of Superman, Wonder Woman and even Kim Possible. But have you heard of these 7 characters? From an annoying niece to a moon princess, here are some TV (and movie) characters we can all learn a thing or two from.

1. Jade Chan from Jackie Chan Adventures

The show really should have been Jackie and Jade Chan Adventures tbh. Jade was there every step of the way as Uncle Jackie took on dragons, demon sorcerers and magical animals and some of the best schemes came from the pre-teen with a penchant for trouble.

2. Goliath from Gargoyles

I'll admit he scared he at first, but the older I get, the more respect I have for the Gargoyles' leader. He's firm and loyal even if he can get hot-tempered at times. It's hard to be self-sacrificing for over 1000 years, but no one does it as well as Goliath.

3. Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh!

Alright so Kaiba isn't really the main character, but he really should've been. He comes across as blunt and ruthless, but I call it being straightforward and ambitious. And the way he is with his little brother? I get the fuzzies every time.

4. Nausicaä from Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind

Probably the original badass girl, Nausicaä saved (and then united) her entire dystopian world by sacrificing herself. No one understood the poisonous bugs and jungle like she did and we should all try to be as open-minded as her.

5. Sailor Moon and Sailor Mini Moon from Sailor Moon

Not all heroes are tough and intimidating and these Sailor Scouts are bad-ass in their own ways. If anything, Sailor Moon and Mini Moon teach us that even the clumsiest and ditziest of us can have the heart to save the world.

6. Spirit from Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron

Spirit gets lost in the shuffle of the Disney mega-hits, but don't be fooled. This isn't your typical animated movie. Spirit will teach you about staying tough, fighting for freedom and finding friendships in unsuspecting places.

7. The Unicorn from The Last Unicorn

The Unicorn, who goes by Amalthea midway through the movie, shows us the dark side of being a hero – the personal sacrifices required to save others. She leaves her home to save her fellow unicorns and falls in love with a human only to be forced to , regretfully, leave him in the end. I cried the first time I watched this and I'll probably cry the next time too.
