THE LINEUP

My first thought when I saw this year’s lineup? WOW. Headlining, is G Eazy (reppin for the Bay Area!) who incase you’ve been living in a cave, is an amazing act that is sure to put on a good show with loads of energy.

Major Lazer who has changed the game with their unique sound and style will definitely leave people talking, dancing….and jumping around like crazy.

Die Antwoord is a wild act out of South Africa who have been in the scene for YEARS. I have wanted to see them perform live ever since I first saw and heard them. Set design, energy and overall sound, if you do not know about them, you need to hit the Youtube. I could go on for hours about all the other amazing acts, but mainly I am really looking forward to the experience and discovering NEW music.

THE WILDNERNESS

My first music festival was recently, last year at Lightning in a Bottle. I really enjoyed having a cool setup that was warm and comfy with a cool community of fellow festival goers new and veterans.

THE WEIRDOZ

There is something really cool about being around a bunch of strangers that share a common interest in music and art, and seeing all the weirdos and aliens come out to dance and partake in the festivities. If you are an “outsider”, this is your time to be at home.

NEW FRIENDZ

It’s a healthy thing to be around people that share common interests with you, although it’s not always the easiest to find them. Meet people who enjoy your love of music and being in the freedom to share life long memories.

 

THE EXPERIENCE

The last festival I went to gave me this feeling of being a pioneer, out in the wild and it was up to me and my festival partner in crime to have food, shelter, and an incredible experience. Mission accomplished. Part of the adventure is the planning of it and getting together with people you love, going to the middle of nowhere, dancing, singing, laughing and letting go.
