TravelingWarrior.com would like to recommend 5 great locations to take the perfect NYC Skyline Photo. 1. Governor's Island - This is only open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. There is a free shuttle to the island.2. Staten Island Ferry - You can catch the Staten Island Ferry year round and there is no charge. 3. Brooklyn Heights Promenade - Take the 2 or 3 train to the Clark Street Station. Then its only a few blocks away. This gives you a vantage of the skyline from the east.4. Liberty Island/Ellis Island - Ferries are available out to these islands on tours for a fee. While you are out there make sure to snap some great skyline photos of Downtown Manhattan.5. New Jersey - The area around the Empty Sky Memorial in New Jersey is the best location in this region.
