    Alright. This is blindingly good. Mitsubishi announced their new Eclipse Cross, today. Sure, they're already known for their Eclipse, but you can tell that this was strategically crafted, well-timed, and executed -- all day, the social team shared included fun #eclipse facts, tasteful tweets, and impressive photo assets. It's a bold strategy to plan a launch around a solar eclipse (of all things), but I think it was a form of marketing genius.

    They had me at, "It's an Eclipse you can stare at".

    Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart" is back. On Spotify alone, the1983 hit saw a 2,859% boost in US streams, compared to two weeks ago. Tyler then performed her hit, live, on a Royal Caribbean cruise -- so the RC team definitely gets some strategic & creative love (and for their catchy #EclipseonRoyal hashtag)

    NASA had various live-streams set up all around the various Eclipse paths -- it was great to see them taking those strides and I can imagine their real-time viewership was massive.

    The collaboration with CNN + Volvo was, hands down, the most innovative take on fully immersing yourself, experiencing 360 degree VR (whilst in a Volvo). Did I expect a Volvo to be virtually driving me around with impeccable commentary? Of course not.

    Am I mad about it? No -- you could practically smell the leather, too.
