For those needing a little retro sci-fi in their life, the Stranger Things Experience pop-up has entered Toronto and turned everything into the Upside Down!

The collaboration between Netflix and Fever brings the most recognisable environments from the series IRL in this visually stunning interactive experience filled with '80s nostalgia and spooks worthy of being viewed on VHS. Here are some of the most noteworthy ~strange things~ from the immersive pop-up:

1. You get to be a part of a Hawkins Lab study.

The ~main event~ of the experience is going through your own storyline as a test subject at Hawkin's Lab for their "sleep study". Recordings weren't allowed, but the detail that was put into the design of it all comes straight out of a true Stranger Things fan's dream! From the video cameos from the series' cast to the impressive performances from the in-person actors and surprise monsters — the whole experience would still be worth it even if it was just this 45-minute adventure.

2. There's a chance to play with THE alphabet wall.

You can experience a super detailed recreation of the alphabet wall that Joyce made in season 1. They recreated the actual living room set for the experience, and you'll definitely feel the urge to frantically communicate with the Upside Down through this Christmas-light ouija board. 

3. You can get some delicious bites at "Scoops Ahoy" and "Surfer Boy Pizza".

Unfortunately, Steve and *ahem* Robin couldn't make it to work, but the many many ice cream flavours you can try make up for their absence! And the pizza and corn dogs are also incredibly tasty. The nostalgia and branding were so strong at these eateries! 

4. Don't miss the chance to get possessed by Vecna.

5. There's drinks for everyone at "The Upside".

While avoiding "The Upside Down" remember to look for  "The Upside"! There were delicious adult bevs and kid-friendly drinkies at this perfectly themed bar. The bar acts as a perfect relaxation station for you and every other Stranger Things fanatic you bring with you!

6. And lastly, feel the super retro vibes with some '80s games!

They have some pretty on theme and awesome '80s arcade cabinets that you'd definitely see the Stranger Things kids getting into! Hours upon hours could be spent playing these ~super rad~ games.
