This Gilmore Girls Fan Theory About Caesar And Rory Is True!

This is what happens when you're a major Gilmore Girls fan and have too much time on your hands.

Caesar and Rory were classmates at Chilton, seriously.

With the upcoming Netflix premiere of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, I decided to start watching the series again from the start.

I've watched the show since I was 11, back when it was on The WB.

I've seen every episode countless times...but this time around I noticed something very odd.

In season 1, episode 9, "Rory's Dance" a familiar face appeared in the background of a fight scene between Tristan and Dean. Chilton?!

Could it be...? Is that Caesar next to Rory?!

Could it be...? Is that Caesar next to Rory?!

After posting the image on Reddit, lots of other fans agreed with my find. So, my last step was to confirm with Mr. Aris Alvarado himself, on Twitter.

A few days later, he responded and confirmed that I was the first to find him and that he likes to think Caesar was at the dance!

The Gilmore Guys hosted a panel this weekend at the Gilmore Girls Fan Festival, where Aris had a bit more to say about the role and you can see his response here.

Both HelloGiggles & Bustle picked up my find as well.

So, did Caesar and Rory actually go to Chilton together? Up to you to decide...but at the very least he was at the dance.

It's a great time to be a Gilmore Girls fan...

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life premieres on Netflix on November 25th.
