The Sandlot Just Turned 25 And Now You're Officially Old

Movies get remembered, but legends never die.

25 years ago the movie industry, nay, the world would be changed "fooor-eeeeh-ver".

Because on April 1st, 1993 - The Sandlot would be released in theaters.

It's a coming of age story about friendship, baseball, and of course, The Beast.

Each of the diverse cast of characters were relatable and authentic, making us feel as if we were a part of the gang of misfits.

The film is adored by die-hard fans and a must-see if you like baseball. Even the MLB heralds this as one of their favorites. Check out The New York Yankees recreation of this iconic scene.
