One of the most natural occurrences that have followed man through the process of civilization is art. It is an expression, it is a coping mechanism, and it is a way of recording or even preserving memories as a species.

Be it through music, drawing, painting or any other one of the numerous forms it takes, one thing is for sure; a display of art is a display of man at his most creative and most imaginative.

Taking this into consideration, we have come a long way from drawing stick figures in caves, from simplistic shapes that only manage to convey an idea. We have developed skill and mastery of the brush, the pen and also, the pencil. Branches have split from conventional art forms, individuals have innovated, and people all around the world have found much-needed warmth in the arms of expression.

But the beauty of this reality lies in the individuality of the craft. Every single person processes emotions and imagination in a different way and so, every artwork is a masterpiece that cannot be replicated. Over the years, innovators have taken leaps and bounds in the profession. The Da Vinci’s, Van Gogh’s, Picasso’s, and Basquiat's. One of the front-runners of contemporary art in the world currently is Bartosz Beda, a multitalented and passionate individual that has continued to prove and develop himself in the public’s eye.

Bagging an MA in Fine Art in 2012, Bartosz has relentlessly worked to improve his painting,

making vital contributions to animations like Ichthis by Marek Skrobecki (2005) and also, the Oscar-winning Peter and the Wolf by Suzieh Templeton (2006), which received the Oscar Prize in 2007.

He won the esteemed Towry Award for the Best of North of England as well as a six-month scholarship to Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden, Germany. A devoted painter, Bartosz has had solo exhibitions at Galleria Liebre, Spain (2013), BAC Gallery, Colombia (2015), Jackson-Teed, England (2016), and Rosemary Duffy Larson Gallery, USA (2017) among others.

He has been widely featured and covered by multiple magazines and press outfits.

He currently lives in the United States where he continues to ignite the passion of creativity within him. Working on pieces that speak to the current political mind state while pushing boundaries with his works.

To be a true artist goes beyond the mere desire. It requires devotion, dedication, practice and also, solace. These are very heavy prices to pay for life.

And truly, that is the reason we immortalize our artists.
