What was this opening scene? ICONIC! That's what it was! Forget about introducing plot or anything a normal film would do. This movie decided to start off with the power rangers jumping out of a plane to save an observatory because......WHY NOT?! It features incredible stunts performed by stunt doubles that look absolutely nothing like the cast, horrible green screen, and TOMMY'S BOARD! Honestly I couldn't imagine a better way to start this masterpiece of a film.

2. The One Liners

Honestly this movie is full of one liners but possibly the greatest scene in the movie is the fight scene in the beginning. It's a ten minute scene of the power rangers fighting Ivan Ooze's minions. Normal Power Rangers fight scene fight? WRONG! What makes it is great isn't the fighting, but the random comedic lines delivered through the action are genius. Between the yellow ranger telling the minions to kiss and make up and pushing them together or the blue ranger punching the minion and saying you ooze you lose! WOW JUST GROUNDBREAKING!

3. That Random Hot Lady

Let's be honest nobody knows or remembers this woman's name. She appeared half naked out of nowhere. She kicked some bird ass and then bounced up and down to scare the demon birds away. You can argue she had a purpose to the plot, but let's be real she was a gift for all the fathers who were dragged to this see movie. My dad let me watch this movie everyday and I am pretty sure this scene is the reason he didn't go mentally insane.

4. The Final Blow

That gif isn't edited! That is the actual scene from the movie! It is during the final battle between The Power Rangers and Ivan Ooze. Ivan has the Ranger's Zord trapped with no way of moving. The Rangers see a comet passing by and realize this is their only way to stop Ivan Ooze. What do the Ranger do? Sacrifice themselves to save day? OH NO! Aisha comes up with a brilliant idea to push the emergency button. What does that button do you ask? Self Destruct? Send Missiles? NOPE! This button makes their zord knee Ivan Ooze in the crotch, unattach himself from their zord, and somehow push him into the comet! HOW THIS MOVIE DIDN'T WIN AN OSCAR IS BEYOND ME!

5. Ivan Ooze

Ugh where do I even begin with this man? Quite possibly the greatest villain in film history. Between his sense of style and his jokes, Ivan Ooze is a blessing to our childhood. He taught us how to throw flawless shade at anybody in our way. Asking for his autograph book when the Power Rangers addressed themselves BRILLIANT! Saying his biggest regret of being locked away was missing the Brady Bunch Reunion..... I CAN'T! This man also destroyed the commander center with a flute.....A FUCKING FLUTE! Ugh I could sadly write a whole book on this man but I'll just finish this post with his catch phrase. LET'S GET STICKY! (yes that joke went past my head when I was a child)
