Those 2 Guys Present The Best Odd Couples In Recent History

Back when we were the spokesguys for Sonic, people always referred to us an “odd couple.” And we understand why: It’s because odd couples are notoriously awesome. Here are some of our favorite duos, from whom we draw inspiration every day, in the hopes that eventually we will again be Sonic’s oddest couple of spokesguys.

1. Bert and Ernie

Bert and Ernie have been friends forever. They have basically withstood the test of time. We heard that the HBO series, “Band of Brothers,” is really about them.

2. Oprah and Gayle

These ladies inspire us in a multitude of ways, but mostly because their infamous road trip really illustrated something we’ve known all along, which is the miracle that is the drive-thru.

3. Chandler and Joey

Chandler and Joey’s relationship reminds us that where one of us goes, the other must go too.

4. Johnny Depp and Tim Burton

Depp and Burton just get each other, and their snide-smiles are superb.

5. Christina Hendricks and Geoffrey Arend

We hope to photograph this well together someday.

6. Flava Flav and Brigitte Nielsen

We know we have something in common with this pair, but we haven’t figured it out yet because we keep fighting over who would get to be Brigitte.

7. Charlie and Alan Harper

Charlie and Alan Harper perfected the art of showing appreciation for each other through insults.

8. Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper

This odd couple prove if you work hard enough you finally get to go to good New Year’s Eve parties.

9. Laverne and Shirley

Laverne and Shirley are treasures, and it is in their honor that we keep trying to bring poodle skirts back.

But obviously, we’re the best odd couple, because who else would run up a $1500 auto detailing bill just to talk about popcorn chicken?
