At the age of 15, yes that’s right, 15, singer Shannon K is talented beyond her years and it shows in her latest album, PERPETUAL. Featuring a mix of upbeat dance jams and soulful ballads, Shannon K’s album is bound to be your #1 go-to this summer.
This will be the singer’s first ever album, but history proves this will be a smash like her previous singles. Shannon K’s singles ‘SAPPHIRE’ and ‘Roll Back The Years’ have each reached over a million views on YouTube.
With PERPETUAL, Shannon wants that fun vibe that embodies summer. “Basically the whole album is about mixed emotions and feeling good about yourself. Sometimes you feel like you need someone when you’re down and then at times you want to forget about all the stresses in your life and have fun,” says Shannon K.
Shannon K. debuted the album at top Hollywood spot, Peppermint Club while supporting and raising awareness for Boo2Bullying. The organization is comprised of artists and visionaries dedicated to transforming this generation into one of strength and empowerment. Its goal is to empower and provide support to youth and their families.
The singer is the daughter of Bollywood legend, Kumar Sanu, who debuted at the age of twelve with a single written by her younger sister, Annabel K. Her sister also wrote many of the songs on her latest album. Shannon K can easily transition from pop to ballads, proving at 15 she will be talented than we ever will be.
