The Thor Trilogy: Which Character Are You, Based On Your Zodiac Sign?

It feels appropriate to begin with the God of Thunder himself, who is quite obviously an Aries. An Aries is courageous and confident, but can also have a short temper and act impatiently.
In the trilogy's first installment, Thor was presented as the powerful and brave warrior whose arrogance sometimes pushed him to do foolish things. Instead of thinking things through, he rushed into battle. Yet when he let that warrior side go, he proved himself a compassionate and determined hero.

Aries - Thor

Unlike Aries, patience is a virtue of a Taurus. They are often reliable friends who like to approach situations from a rational point of view. They can be thrown off by sudden changes and tend to be protective.

Erik Selvig certainly encompasses these characteristics as one of Thor's human allies. The arrival of Thor brings up a lot of questions, but Selvig tries to reason with Jane and explain things practically. He is also very protective of Jane, not wanting her to get mixed up in dangerous situations.

Taurus - Erik Selvig

Not only did Taika Waititi bring his unique sense of humor to Thor: Ragnarok, but he also gave one of the movie's funniest performances as Korg. Though intimidating in size, he is actually a very gentle guy who likes talking to new people and has a very childlike view of the world.

In that sense, Korg seems like an obvious Gemini. These types of people are usually very friendly and kind individuals. They enjoy chatting with people and have a natural curiosity about the world.

A Cancer is an interesting one as their good qualities and negative attributes can sometimes conflict with one another. This feels like a fitting explanation for Odin as well, as he is one of the most complex characters of this trilogy.
Like many people under the Cancer sign, Odin is a great leader and very loyal to the people of Asgard. However, he can be aggressive at times and even manipulative, as in his relationship with Loki, which is also a trait of the Cancer sign.

Another wildly fun new character introduced in Thor: Ragnarok was the Grandmaster. This ruler of Sakaar comes off as a cheerful and humorous guy, but underneath he is a self-centered and egomaniacal man.

While that might seem like a harsh description of Leos, it's hard to deny that the Grandmaster shares some of their more negative traits. He is a spoiled and lazy ruler who loves to be entertained but refuses to acknowledge the more negative aspects of life around him.

Those under the Virgo sign are known for their hardworking approach and their loyalty to others. These are just some of the reasons Jane Foster fits into this personality type so well.

She is someone who will work tirelessly until the job is done, often prioritizing work over the other things in her life. She can be critical of herself and a bit of a worrier, but as seen with her romance with Thor, she really tries to make things work no matter the challenges in the way.

Virgo - Jane Foster

Despite being the loving mother to Thor and Loki, Frigga doesn't get a whole lot to do in the Thor movies. However, in her limited screentime, she establishes herself as a caring person who tries to resolve issues and hates unhappiness in those around her.
Like most Libras, Frigga is diplomatic, going along with Odin's harsher decrees but also offering a softer approach. Even when Loki attacks New York, she tries to be fair-minded and compassionate with him.

A Scorpio is someone whose bravery is never in question and who can be quite resourceful wherever they end up in life. At the same time, they have a hard time trusting others and don't like to reveal too much about themselves.

Valkyrie fits that description quite well as she is introduced as someone who has no fear of battle and a tendency for violence. She also is hiding a painful past, but once she opens up, she is a loyal ally who seems to have a bigger heroic role to play in the future of the MCU.

Scorpio - Valkyrie

While Thor is the titular hero of the franchise, Loki has been just as important as the resident antagonist. However, within the trilogy, Loki has a fascinating arc where he ultimately ends up as a sort of hero. In that arc, his Sagittarius personality comes through.

A Sagittarius can usually have a hard time being confined to certain roles and can have some off-the-wall ideas. They enjoy their freedom but their ambition can sometimes make them promise things they can't deliver on.

Sagittarius - Loki

A Capricorn is someone known for being incredibly disciplined and responsible. They can come off as cold but have amazing self-control in the roles that they take very seriously. Heimdall is a clear match for this sign.
As the overseer of the entire universe, Heimdall has an understated personality and can be condescending to those around him. But he is the perfect man for this job as he is always diligent and ready for the worst.

Capricorn - Heimdall

As one of Thor's loyal companions, Lady Sif is a bold fighter. While other characters might think a woman can't be a great warrior, she takes great pride in proving them wrong and blazing her own path. With those strong ideals, Lady Sif is a clear Aquarius.

She enjoys charging into battle with her friends and fighting for worthy causes. She hates any limitations put on her and can be quite aggressive when coming up against someone who sees things differently than her.

A Pisces is a rather emotional person. They are someone who has trouble dealing with their past and can often feel alone in the world. However, they are also smart, gentle, and compassionate. While these traits certainly don't describe Hulk, they do fit with Bruce Banner.

Through his unlikely team-up with Thor, Bruce gets to show some new sides of himself in Thor: Ragnarok. While he is a lot funnier than usual, he also has a sad quality to him and seems to be the perpetual victim.
