This year has been particularly good for JK Rowling and the Harry Potter fandom. She's released a play, three eBooks and a new movie is coming out as well. This seems to be the year of excitement and joy for potter fans worldwide. You Go, Joanne!

The Cursed Child play is by Jack Thorne and JK Rowling who helped slightly. It's bestselling and SERIOUSLY excited us Potterheads. It tells the story of Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy. Great material for fandom shippers as Drarry is now Scalbus.

Plus, Warner Bros and Rowling bought the rights almost instantly.

Pottermore has released three eBooks as part of the Hogwarts Library through Pottermore Presents. They are short compilations of information from Pottermore and things that Rowling knew.

Power, Politics and Pesky Poltergeists are about Umbridge, ghosts and Slughorn.

The Complete and Unreliable Guide to Hogwarts is a muggle's version of Hogwarts, A History.

The last book is about some heroes from the battle of Hogwarts such as McGonagall and Lupin.

The best thing is that they're only ninety nine pence each.
