What Are The Most Clueless Things People Have Said To You About Endometriosis?

There's a lot of confusion out there about endometriosis. What do you wish more people knew about this condition?

Endometriosis can be a pretty terrible condition to have.

If you have endometriosis, tissue from the uterine lining ends up in parts of the body it shouldn't be, causing serious pain, bleeding, inflammation, bloating, and other problems.

But it's largely an invisible illness. And it can be hard for people who don't have it to really understand what you are going through.

We'd like you to tell us how people have reacted to you, and things people have said that have been less than helpful.

What don't people get about endometriosis? What are some of the more clueless things people have said to you about this condition?

Everyone's experience can vary. But maybe you've found that people seem to have no idea just how painful and debilitating endometriosis can be.

They may question if you really need pain relief, or they may doubt the methods or treatments you are using.

And they may not know that it can sometimes change the way your body looks or cause bloating so severe you might have a swollen belly.

And that even with treatment, the symptoms may not go away entirely.
