1. The Baby-Sitters Club

The second season of this 1990 reboot of the one-season-wonder releases on October 11. The Rotten Tomatoes community applauds its adherence to the children's novel series of the same name, written by Ann M. Martin, and for its appeal to a newer audience in Gen Z.

2. The Wonder Years

ABC

Produced by Lee Daniels, this reboot of the 1988 series of the same name premiered last month on ABC. In this American coming-of-age comedy series, we follow 12-year-old Dean Williams as he grows up in a Black middle-class family in Montgomery, Alabama during the late 1960s. Don Cheadle narrates the series as the adult counterpart of Dean.

3. Doogie Kameāloha, M.D.

Disney

This 2021 family medical comedy-drama is based on the 1989 television series Doogie Howser, M.D. (which starred Neil Patrick Harris). The reboot stars Peyton Elizabeth Lee as the title character of Lahela "Doogie" Kameāloha. The show is neither a remake nor a sequel of Doogie Howser — in fact, Lahela is given the nickname “Doogie” by her friends because “she’s like a real-life Doogie Howser.” That is, she is child prodigy balancing her teenage life with a budding medical career.

4. Saved by the Bell

The Saved by the Bell reboot premiered on November 25, 2020 and was renewed earlier this year for a 10-episode second season. Unlike the other series mentioned so far, most of the main stars from the original Saved by the Bell reprised their roles in the revival. The pandemic delayed work on the second season, so we may have to wait until 2022 to see what's happening with the new group of Bayside High students.

5. iCarly

Paramount+

This revival comedy series is based on the 2007 Nickelodeon series of the same name, and stars original cast members Miranda Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor, and Nathan Kress, along with newcomers Laci Mosley and Jaidyn Triplett. The series is set a decade after the events of the original. Carly has moved back home to Seattle and decides to relaunch her iCarly webshow with the help of her friends and older brother Spencer. The series premiered in June 2021 to many positive reviews and a month later was renewed for a second season.
