LEGO's First Ever Full-Size And Driveable Car

Not just another Bugatti Chiron you can't afford.

The LEGO group this week unveiled a true marvel of LEGO engineering. Wait. Scratch that. A true marvel of engineering, PERIOD. A life size, fully functional (meaning driveable) Bugatti Chiron made entirely from LEGO elements. Over a million LEGO elements, to be precise.

Powered exclusively by motors from LEGO’s Power Function platform, the Bugatti Chiron uses 2,304 motors and 4,032 Technic gears to move this 1.5 ton marvel over 12 miles an hour.

Taking over 13,000 hours in development and construction, the Chiron is equipped with a rear spoiler, front and back lights and detachable steering wheel and is able to generate 5.3 horse power. Just don’t bother asking what it would cost, you don’t even want to know.
