What Is He Wearing 2017- Romper-Romphim-Jumper-Jumpsuit

Romphim-Romper gate 2017 took over social media for nearly 2 weeks straight And I fear all of summer 2017. Recently a kick starter campaign by company ACE design recently released a design called the romphim. For those unable to put it together a romphim is a play on a traditional womens romper for summer weather. This hot new trend has all of social media and male masculinity into a state of gender crisis. #1 First this is not a new trend. The romphim is a tailored watered down version of a track suit for men. Jumpsuits with cropped legs have been around since the early 1920 in different incarnations. If you want proof just look at what men were wearing as swim suits back in the day. The reason this entire trend is fascinating is because it calls attention to two things. 1 being that mens fashion is still in the dark ages. When any designer slightly shifts what a man can wear in terms of cut or color, sends out society in to thoughtless stampeded. It become s a battle of not does this look nice but who is your sexuality. Not cool. 2. Romphim gate 2017 shows us that not only men needs a fashion history but the main public does as well. Yes fashion capitalizes on trends coming in and out of style. However, I find it almost funny that we forget electrician, stunt men, and everyday men who have worn jump suits fashionably for years if anything the romphim or jumpsuit is a testament to true masculinity, strength and power. SO get reasy because is romper time for men across the world. But can we please call is a jump suit again.
