I Noticed A Fun Easter Egg In Moana

And it relates to Tangled!

So, we all know Moana

Aka the coolest movie to come out of Disney in awhile.

And of course, we all remember 2010's Tangled

Which brought us the fun-loving Rapunzel who was also low-key a hostage for her whole life but whatever.

The pivotal McGuffin of Tangled is the magical flower that saves the life of Rapunzel's mother

This flower in turn gives Rapunzel magical hair while in-utero because, ya know, science and Disney magic.

But we don't know much about where this flower actually came from

I mean yeah it was growing on a mountainside for Mother Gothel's use until the Kingdom of Corona found it for use on the ailing Queen.

Enter, Moana. As we know, Moana restores the Heart of Te Fiti and restores life to the islands of the Ocean, including her own Island of Motunui

It was incredibly beautiful and moving and badass. (I just really loved Moana, ok?)

But I happened to notice something really interesting as Moana returned home after restoring the heart...

Moana sails home by herself, and we then get a shot of the dead wildlife coming back to life

And what do we see among the newly-flourishing flora?

Seen here, being taken by the Kingdom of Corona to save the Queen's life!

Theory: The Kingdom was said to have searched far and wide for this flower--perhaps they found it on Motunui?

And because the Heart of Te Fiti--the power of life and creation-- caused the Island to be restored, THAT'S why this flower had such magical capabilities
