English, as a language, often makes little to no sense.
So learning how to speak it must be ridiculously difficult.
For starters, there are all kinds of silent letters that try to trick you into saying them.
Not to mention all of the words that look like they should be pronounced the same, but definitely are not.
Plus, English is filled with so many weird idioms that even native speakers don't quite understand.
