    He's currently starring in Hamilton, for which he — NBD — wrote the book, music, and lyrics.

    Case in point: He performed maybe the best surprise song ever for his wife Vanessa at their 2010 wedding.

    There's a lot of competition for that title, but his rendition of "To Life" from Fiddler on the Roof is an absolute joy to behold.

    Just like the song's name suggests, the performance is full of, well, life.

    They do a horah.

    They absolutely kill the can-can.

    And by the time the bridesmaids and Lin-Manuel's father join in, the moves are downright profesh.

    Needless to say, Vanessa loves it.
