This Couple Took The Most Adorable Wedding Photos With Their Dogs

Who needs a bridal party when you have dogs?

Shandess and Jason Griffin never considered not including their four dogs Zero, Holden, Arbor, and Navi (L-R) in their wedding.

Shandess, who owns a dog daycare center, told BuzzFeed Life that the couple's free time revolves around their pups, whether it's hiking with them or photographing them for her Instagram account.

In fact, two of those dogs brought Shandess and Jason together. She only responded to his message on a dating site because he said he wanted to take them on a walk with her.

"He was excellent with them immediately, he knew the breeds and everything," she said. "They loved him right away, so I said OK, he’s a keeper."

Shandess got her first dog Zero, a Samoyed, eight years ago. Holden, a Bernese Mountain Dog, came a few years later. Shandess and Jason started dating five years ago; she convinced him to adopt Navi, an Australian Shepherd mix, from her cousin, six months into their relationship. The first dog they got together was Arbor, another Bernese Mountain Dog.

Naturally, Jason had the crew help him propose to Shandess in June 2014.

WHO COULD SAY NO TO THAT?

For their Sept. 19 wedding, the "furry bridal party" got pampered and wore handmade bowties created by Shandess's best friend.

The dogs were supposed to escort Shandess's bridesmaids down the aisle for a beach ceremony, but rain forced them to move their wedding indoors.

Luckily their venue, Long Beach Lodge Resort in Tofino, British Columbia, loved the pups as much as Shandess and Jason do. They broke their no dogs rule and let all four of the pooches roam free for the whole night.

That means their 26 guests got to snuggle with these beauties all night long.

Shandess said they were all well-behaved as usual, but they penned them up a few times during the night for photo-taking purposes. Otherwise, they were meeting and greeting the whole time.

Zero and Holden, the OGs, even joined Shandess and Jason for their first dance.

"My dogs are my babies. They come to work with me, they’re my life," Shandess said. "When Jason came along, he changed everything. I was finally able to trust someone else with my dogs."

In case that wasn't a big enough slice of dog heaven, Shandess and Griffin also brought Arbor and Navi on their honeymoon.

Oh yeah, and they're getting their fifth dog, an Australian Shepherd puppy, on Dec. 5.
