In the summer of 2017, 15 year-old Eli Zied returned to his home in New York City after a 5-week pre-college summer program determined to create a new company. After learning about business and marketing, Eli sought to create a clothing brand that combined the style and attitude of urban brands he wore and loved with a lifestyle movement that motivated people to practice positive habits to achieve their goals. With a little money saved from birthday and bar mitzvah gifts and a lot of drive, Habits 365 was born.

When Eli shared the idea with his then 19 year-old brother Spencer, the two joined forces to support the brand and movement. And now, the creator and CEO of Habits 365--Eli Zied, a 16 year-old junior at Birch Wathen Lenox School in Manhattan, New York, and co-founder, COO and CMO Spencer Zied, a 20-year-old sophomore at the University of Miami, are beginning to see their efforts pay off. Not only does Habits 365 boast more than 50,000 Instagram followers, but the brand is well on its way toward achieving Eli’s initial vision. Even more exciting, Habits 365 gear has been worn by over 30 influencers including Dwyane Wade, Jay Critch, Kam Chancellor, and Tyrann Mathieu.

Over the last year and a half, Habits 365 has enjoyed organic growth. Eli and Spencer stoked excitement for the brand by proactively reaching out to influencers, sending them free merchandise, and asking them to either share their excitement for Habits 365 on their social media platforms or providing them with a photo they could share on Instagram. Many influencers have also posted about Habits 365 on their Instagram story or Instagram feed. Habits 365 has also been featured on the SportsCenter Snapchat.

But the brand message of Habits 365 goes beyond influencers and products. On a regular basis, Habits 365 creates Instagram posts that describe positive habits of influencers, athletes and members of the Habits 365 community. The constant reinforcement of positive, proactive health and lifestyle habits aligns the style and attitude of the brand with the hopes and aspirations of its customers.

Habits 365 has gradually expanded its range of products to include t-shirts, hoodies, hats, shorts, women’s cropped hoodies and leggings. In the summer of 2018, a designer collection with products ranging from shorts to long sleeve shirts and a limited edition Varsity Jacket were added. Habits 365 also recently started a Brand Ambassador program in which fellow enthusiasts join the team and earn a commission by selling products to their peers. Working with the Habits 365 team, they promote products and events on their social media outlets, and introduce new products and offer pre-sales and other special offers.
