The Reading Partnership has programs dedicated to helping parents teach their kids how to read. Their "Reading Partnership For Black Parents" program includes virtual workshops led by pros, resources, and lesson plans that focus on the shared experience of Black parents. You can check it out here!

This year marks the 15th annual Massimadi Festival, which celebrates Afro LGBTQ+ Films. This Montreal-based festival works to uplift local talent, and many of their yearly selects are available to stream online too! Get watching here.

The FCF is a nonprofit that's responsible for helping organize film festivals all across Canada, including both the Montreal and Toronto Black Film Festival (which runs Feb. 15-20). Showcasing a ton of culturally diverse artists year after year, you can get involved here.
Black Theatre Workshop (BTW) is Canada's longest-running Black theatre company dedicated to reflecting Black culture. Based in Quebec, BTW is all about expanding representation for Black Canadian artists. Check them out here.
