Pick Your Death Row Meal And We'll Give You An Unsolved Mystery

In 1971, a man boarded a flight to Seattle with a one-way ticket. He alerted the flight attendants mid-air that he had a bomb, and demanded $200,000, parachutes, and a truck upon landing. The police complied, and the man, who identified himself as 'Dan Cooper' then requested to be flown to Mexico City. On the flight, he parachuted out of the plane and made out with the ransom money never to be seen again.

The Hijaker of Boeing 727

Beginning in 1969, a string of 5 unsolved murders shook the San Francisco area. The killer took particular joy in taunting police officers, going as far as to send coded letters, calling in his own murders, and mailing in part of a bloody shirt. In spite of all this, the case remains unsolved.

The Zodiac Killer

22-year old aspiring actress Elizabeth Short was brutually murdered in Los Angeles in 1947. She was found naked in Leimart park, and the senseless crime rocked Hollywood at the height of its renaissance. In spite of immediate media attention, no culprit has ever been found.
