    Less than a month to go until Christmas, and I bet you don’t have all your shopping done yet. Don’t fret, there is still time! This year is the perfect time to give a gift that takes you or the recipient way back. Here are some blast from the past Christmas ideas that are sure to make everyone on your list, young and old, happy!

    We all remember the 1990s and Furby. I remember trying to get mine to be quiet and putting it in the bathroom cabinet under the sink. Guess how well that went over when my roommate opened it a 6 a.m. one morning? Yes, I said roommate (there’s no age limit to some toys). And it went over like a snowman in a pizza oven. The Furby got a definite reboot and come in everything from Wookie to wombat.

    Care Bears were quite the rage in the 1980s. This toy has also experienced a resurgence lately due to a new cartoon. More than 40 million Care Bears were sold between 1983 and 1987, and during the decade, American Greetings printed over 70 million of their cards. In whole, the sales of their merchandise reached over $2 billion during the 1980s.

    Everyone remembers “I have the power!!!!” Mattel produced the original Masters of the Universe action figures in 1981. The two primary characters, 'the most powerful man in the universe', He-Man and his nemesis, the evil skull-faced sorcerer Skeletor, were the first released in action figure form, along with other core characters of the entire series.
