1. Farmacy

Although it does serve some vegetarian food, most of Farmacy's menu is vegan. It's the perfect place to go for a special occasion because it feels fancy af despite being reasonably priced. Plus, their afternoon tea (which includes vegan scones topped with coconut cream) is beyond delicious.

2. Vegan Yes

This Italian-Korean fusion restaurant has two branches: one on Brick Lane and one on Seven Sisters Road. Their kimchee lasagne is like nothing you've ever tasted and they teach vegan cooking classes!

3. Fed by Water

Fed by Water is an Italian vegan restaurant right across the road from Dalston Kingsland. They do massive pizzas using cashew cream instead of cheese and seitan instead of meat. Their puddings are also gorgeous.

4. The Gate

Every vegetarian who lives in London has been to The Gate. There are three branches (in Marylebone, Angel, and Hammersmith) and they also have a great selection of vegan food. The rotolo with cauliflower couscous is out of this world.

5. Mildreds

Mildreds is another one of those places that every vegetarian in London has heard of. They've recently opened a fourth branch in Dalston and they serve the kind of vegan food that you don't even notice is dairy and meat-free. Their mushroom pie is fab.

6. Ethos

Ethos is essentially a massive vegan-friendly buffet where you pay for the weight of your plate. There are some veggie dishes on offer, but the majority (and the best bits) are all vegan. The miso aubergine is especially yummy.

The concept of Tibits is similar to Ethos: You pay for the weight of your plate. Everything at Tibits is delicious and you'll find plenty of vegan foods on offer.

Essence Cuisine is a plant-based restaurant that opened in London this summer. They started in LA and everything on their menu is delicious and healthy.

Omgggg this place is so good. It's essentially a fried chicken shop, except it serves seitan instead of chicken. They also do a cashew cream mac and cheese which is to die for.

Club Mexicana do Mexican-inspired vegan street food. The absolute best thing they do is jackfruit instead of pulled pork. Honestly it's amazing, even meat eaters love it.

This vegan, gluten-free bakery serves everything from brownies to cupcakes. It's the perfect place to stuff your face on a Saturday afternoon.

Yorica serve coconut ice cream and fro yos with the most delicious toppings. My favourite is the peanut butter ice cream, but the salted caramel is a close second.

This vegan bakery makes the most gorgeous looking cupcakes. They also do vegan baking and decorating classes that would make a great gift for a friend.

This Deptford Cafe is part library, part coffee shop. Lots of their food is vegan, but there's food for veggies too.

33. Mooshies

There are a lot of vegan burgers in London, but this Brick Lane cafe do a whole range and my god they're delicious. Plus, they deliver.

34. Sanctuary

If you miss paninis, croissants, and proper burgers, look no further than Sanctuary. It's one of the best vegan places around.

35. Vx London

Vx London is a vegan junk food shop and restaurant. They do BBQ ribs, hot dogs, meat ball subs, and kebabs. And it all tastes as good as it sounds.

36. Palm Vaults

Palm Vaults is hands down the most Instagramable cafe in London. They do the most lovely cakes, and there are always at least two vegan options. They also do matcha frappés, avocado lattes, and lavender coffees with coconut, oat, and almond milk.
