Creamy TABASCO® Pasta

If you love vodka pasta, you’ll love this TABASCO® take! Creamy TABASCO® Pasta brings the sauciness and the heat.

Ingredients

250g penne pasta $0.45

50g salted butter  $0.74

1 bottle TABASCO® Brand Red Pepper Sauce $4.00

1 tbsp tomato paste $0.05 

250ml thickened cream $2.30

⅓ cup parmesan cheese, grated $1.50

Basil leaves, to garnish $0.50

Method

STEP 1: Fill a large pot with water and bring to the boil. Add the pasta to the pot and cook pasta for 13 minutes or until cooked through. Reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain the pasta. 

STEP 2: In a large fry pan over medium heat, heat the butter, TABASCO® Sauce, tomato paste, cream, parmesan and reserved pasta water. Bring to a simmer until creamy and thick. Add the pasta to the saucepan and stir to coat every pasta. Serve into serving bowls. 

STEP 3: Garnish pasta bowls with fresh basil leaves.
