    Kim Kardashian, Lena Dunham & More Make Variety's 2015 Power Of Women Issue

    Who are they?

    For their 2015 Power of Women Issue, Variety chose five women who have used their fame to bring awareness to worthy causes.

    And this year's ladies are doing some incredible things.

    1. Rachel Weisz

    Nominated for her work with Opportunity Network, which provides aid for teens in NYC pursuing higher education.

    2. Whoopi Goldberg

    Mireya Acierto / Getty Images

    Nominated for her work with Figure Skating in Harlem, where she is an honorary chair. The nonprofit organization helps young girls learn academic and leadership skills through figure skating.

    3. Kim Kardashian

    Vivien Killilea / Getty Images

    Nominated for her work with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Kim donates the money from her eBay store auctions to the organization and regularly visits patients and their parents.

    4. Lena Dunham

    Jason Merritt / Getty Images

    Nominated for her work with GEMS, Girls Educational & Mentoring Services. The nonprofit aids girls and young women who have been victims of sexual exploitation and trafficking.

    5. Glenn Close

    Rommel Demano / Getty Images

    Nominated for bringing awareness to mental illness and founding Bring Change 2 Mind, a nonprofit fighting to end the stigma around mental illness.
