So 1989 (Taylor's Version) comes out soooo soon, and in honor of it, I've decided to rank the original album!

So buckle up, Swifties, and prepare to hear my unpopular/popular opinions of the pop sensation that is 1989 (2014)!

16. "Welcome To New York"

This song is fun to bop to in the car, but when I'm listening to 1989, it's usually a skip. It's a good opener because it sets the tone for the rest of the album, but other than that, this song is really just mid for me.

15. "Bad Blood"

This song isn't bad, it's just not the best out of the album. It served its purpose as a badass, angry song.

14. "Shake It Off"

Big Machine Records

Ah, yes. "Shake It Off." If you haven't heard it, you've been living under a rock. This song is really uplifting and fun, but it's not the best from 1989. Still, it's fun to scream at the top of your lungs!

13. "All You Had To Do Was Stay"

It's tough to rank this so low because I absolutely LOVE this song. But something had to go in this spot, and this song simply does not slap as hard as some others for me. But it's still pop perfection in every way, and never a skip!

12. "I Wish You Would"

This song never fails to impress. Every time I'm listening to it, I love it even more — it's just not sonically good enough for me to put it past No. 12 on this list. I still love it, though, and will gladly scream "stand back where you stood, I wish you would, I wish you would," at the top of my lungs whenever it comes on!

11. "You Are In Love"

This song is so underrated! It's one of the cutest Taylor Swift songs out there, in my opinion. It tells the story of falling in love in a slow, mellow tone, and the vocals never fail to give me chills.

10. "Wonderland"

Again, so underrated! The verses are so creative and compelling, and the chorus may not be lyrically great, in my opinion, but it's still one of the best on the album! The whole song is a metaphor, and the concept itself is so hypnotizing. 10/10 for me.

9. "Style"

This song is so fun to listen to. It's the most mainstream-appealing song on this album, making it immensely popular, but aside from all of that, it's lyrically and sonically complex and beautiful.

8. "How You Get The Girl"

This song will always have a special place in my heart. It's definitely one of my comfort songs from the album, although it's not as personal to me as songs like "Out Of The Woods" and "Wildest Dreams."

7. "Blank Space"

This song is about the media's obession and misconception surrounding Taylor Swift and her "serial dating." It's one of the higher points in her discography for sure, and the chorus itself is unforgettable (but I can't be the only one who heard "lonely Starbucks lovers" the first few times around, right?).

6. "Clean"

Again, a really high point in her discography. This was one of my favorite Taylor Swift songs a few years ago, and there wasn't a day that went by when I didn't jam out to it in the mirror. It's so catchy but so sad at the same time. It's a calm, synthetic anthem that all Swifties love.

5. "I Know Places"

"Just grab my hand and don't ever drop it; my love." SO. GOOD. If this song isn't perfection in every way, then what am I doing with my life. It's one of the most underrated Taylor songs EVER.

4. "New Romantics"

If you haven't heard this song, go listen to it right now. The verses, the chorus, the bridge...it's so out there and upbeat and fun and silly and meaningful. By the time you're halfway through the song, you'll be shouting "aah aah aah ah, ah, ah!" along with Taylor yourself. It's a masterpiece, nothing more said.

3. "This Love"

This song may not be loved by everyone, but it's certainly loved by me. It's the song of a hopeless romantic longing for more, and it's such a complex song that it's hard not to get attracted to it. It's the type of song to listen to when you're in a romantic, intimate mood.

2. "Out Of The Woods"

THE BRIDGE. No words. This may be one of the best bridges of all time. "Remember when we hit the brakes too soon, twenty stitches in the hospital room, and you started crying, baby I did too, when the sun came up, I was looking at you." Is there really anything more to say?  It's a masterpiece, period.

1. "Wildest Dreams"

And first place goes to...*drumroll please*..."Wildest Dreams"! This song may be in my top ten favorite Taylor songs ever. Right from when you first hear her heartbeat (yes, HER heartbeat) you are immediately compelled to listen to the song. The rerecorded version has already released, and can I just say, it made the original ten times better? This song is lyrically, sonically, and just generally a masterpiece, and I hope it gets more recognition when (TV) comes out! Yes, I know that it's already well-known and appreciated, but no amount of appreciation will ever be enough.
