Pussy Riot !

On Thursday, Feb. 16th at 4:00pm The Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Department is collaborating with the Havighurst Center for a showing of the film Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer in Shideler Hall room 053. This screening will correspond with the Race, Class, Gender, & Sexuality Symposium that will run throughout the following day on Friday Feb. 17th (see details below). Please join us for the film and discussion. Refreshments and snacks will be served.

The Race, Class, Gender and Sexuality Symposium!

This Friday, Feb. 17th the College of Arts and Science presents the 16th Annual Race, Class, Gender, & Sexuality Symposium: An Intersectional Analysis of the Arts and Performance! This event will be held in the Shriver Center Dolibois Room, with the first presentation starting at 8:45am and the keynote speaker, Alice Bag, presenting at 4:00pm.

Coffee House!

Coffee House is this Friday, Feb. 17th starting at 7:00pm! Come on down to the main floor living room to showcase your creative works! Coffee will be provided, but it is requested that you bring your own mug!

Get Buzzed: The Genderbread Box!

This month's Get Buzzed program is titled The Genderbread Box . This program brings to light our society's concept of gender roles and examines the impact they might have on sexual and interpersonal violence. Program facilitators RA Lexi and RA Meredith will discuss societal labels and roles, as well as consider how we all can bring about positive change in society. The Genderbread Box will take place on Friday, Feb. 24th at 7:30 (location to be determined, so keep an eye out for posters and emails that include this information)!

Volunteers Needed in the Speech Pathology Department!

The Femellectual is seeking submissions!

The Women's Center interns need your help! They are seeking submissions for the 2017 edition of The Femellectual ! This year's theme is Clarity. Second-Year Housing Options!

It's about that time to start thinking about where you would like to live next year! There are many awesome locations to move to next year. However, if you have loved your experience living in the Celebrate the Arts Living Learning Community and want to continue living with your best friends, you should consider living in Celebrate the Arts: Chapter Two. Celebrate the Arts: Chapter Two is a second-year, student-created LLC that will not be in Collins Hall. It's illness and stress season, and we all know how that can go. Beat the sickness by taking care of yourself! Take your vitamins, eat healthy foods, drinks lots of water, and don't forget to wash your hands! But most importantly, practice self love and care. Love yourself during this time of romance!
