We just want equality. That is all we want. We want the feeling of safety at night. We want to be equal.
Stereotypes
Here are some stereotypes of feminists that people think all feminists are:
TERMINATOR
Like I said earlier, we do not vow destruction. We just want equality and justice.
Loners
Feminists can date anyone (even men, yeah yeah, myth busted.) At any point in their lives. We don't have to be alone for the rest of our lives. We can get married. Have children. Adopt. All that stuff.
Freaking Crazy
We aren't all insane. And to all the people who use animals as a excuse for anti-feminism, we do not peck men's genitals off. That is the truth. Deal with it.
Stories
These are some stories from my life, as a feminist.
The Bra Size
Once upon a terrible 2019 time, I was in 3rd grade. There was this boy (let's call him... Garyyy) that was severely sexist and anti-feminist. One day, I was wearing a tank top, and my bra strap was showing. No big deal. Then, Garyyy went up to me and said, "Hey, whats your bra size?" Offended, I told him to buzz off and that it was none of his business. He insisted that I tell him, and I just told him I didn't know. He kept looking at my chest, and suddenly insecure, I covered my chest with my notebook. "Stop looking at me!" I said angrily. But his response was "It must be pretty big, because your boobs are hot." I told my teacher, and he got sent down the the office. I still remember this. This is just one of the many rude encounters I have had with males.
My message
My message is that as many people as possible should support feminists and their work. We should all fight for what is right (equality) and shut down all of these sexist programs that exist in the world. I suggest we all submit a story of a time when prejudice and sexism has touched our lives. We can all fight for the rights of all these powerful, amazing women in the world.
