Super Future To Save The Day

Atlanta rap star "Future" comes out of no where to spice up the week for the music industry. I was starting to think I wasn't going to have a album to review for the week but from out of no where the Atlanta rap Gods gave us this.

Future - Future

Future came out of left field when he announced that he would be releasing his self titled album "Future" on Friday. Future went on a run of average tapes in 2016 then slowed down towards the end of the year. However, Future has returned with a bang.

Now of course Future isn't known for his lyrical genius, in fact I would be lying if I said I could understand what he is saying during half of this album. Nonetheless that's what Future does and he is indeed very good at it. While most people only recognize Future for the party bangers that he provides, the actual heart and soul that he pours into a album often goes unnoticed.

Some of the hottest tracks off the album include, "POA", "Poppin' Tags", "Rent Money" and "Draco". The 17 song album really doesn't skip a beat however those are the few that I wanted to highlight. Each song has its own unique flow that is bound to get any party started. If there were ever any question that Future was starting to slow down I personally believe those rumors have now been proven otherwise.

Kygo & Selena Gomez - It Ain't Me

EDM icon Kygo teamed up with pop icon Selena Gomez to drop one of the feel good songs of the year. Kygo's impressive flow combined with Selena's beautiful vocals combine for a head bobbing sensation.

If you're big into EDM/dance music you definitely need to add this one to the playlist. The song is bound to lighten the moods of even the angriest of individuals.

Song Grade: 9.2/10

Nav - Some Way (feat. The Weeknd)

Most people don't really know who Nav is. If you have heard Travis Scott's album "Birds in the Trap" Nav is the one on "beibs in the trap" that sounds just like Justin Beiber".

Nav brought on the Weeknd to make one of the smoother songs of the week. Some Way will give you a slower pace after listening to Future's work. The one thing about this song that is weird to me is the Weeknd its basically rapping on it instead of giving us his usual pop star work. Don't get me wrong its not bad, it's just different and i'm not really used to the flow of it all.

Nonetheless the song flows and will surely be played on a radio near you someday .
