Super Future Returns

Future surprises the world with yet another album in back to back weeks. Calvin Harris combines the soul of Frank Ocean with the triple headed of attack of Migos to create a masterpiece.

Future - HNDRXX

Last week Future surprised the world when he randomly decided to release his self titled album "Future" last Friday. He created a lot of hype and I would say he lived up to it.

This week Future did the unthinkable and did the same exact thing. Releasing a album in back to back weeks is dangerous but of course he was able to pull it off. "HNDRXX" is a more balanced tape. While "Future" seemed to have a lot more "bangers". "HNDRXX" as a good combination of hype songs and emotional songs. Listen to "Future" while you're at a party and "HNDRXX" when you get back home late at night to put you into your feelings.

Future brings in some star power with The Weeknd featuring on "Coming Out Strong" and Rihanna on "Selfish" to help with HNDRXX. Both tracks offer great flow and The Weeknd and Rihanna will never mess a chorus up so have fun singing along. You can hear the passion that Future put into this album with songs like "Sorry", "Hallucinating" and "Incredible".

Overall this is surprisingly a quality tape with great balance and replay value. I didn't think it would be as good as last weeks album especially having 34 total songs, but I think this one is actually better.

Calvin Harris - Slide (feat. Migos and Frank Ocean)

Calvin Harris did what I think wasn't possible and combined the voices of Frank Ocean and Migos to create what I think is the best song released this year so far. Calvin Harris intertwines his EDM style with Frank Oceans vocals and Migos unique style into a effortless collaboration.

If you like feel good music then this is the song for you. I think I have been playing the song on repeat for a straight 24 hours now. The song makes you feel like you're on a tropical beach floating through the ocean. Truly amazing work.

Song grade: 10/10

That'll honestly just about do it for this week to be honest. Not a whole lot happened besides these two masterpieces. If you like EDM I would check out "Stay" by Zedd and Alessia Cara and "Something Just Like This" by The Chainsmokers and Coldplay. Both are great tracks and perfect for the amazing weather we're having this weekend. Next week, there's rumors that Future might drop yet another album. But we'll just have to stay tuned to see if that's true or not.
