Hum Paanch, the 1995 Indian sitcom, hit home with audiences because of its quirky and eccentric female characters. The show also launched Vidya Balan into the entertainment industry.
The show is about Anand Mathur, a middle-class man, his second wife Bina, his five daughters Meenakshi, Radhika, Kajal, Sweety and Chhoti and his dead wife (who speaks to Anand through her portrait that hangs in their living room).
Sweety's dance performances and Kajal bhai's badassery were literally the backbone of this show.
Recently, some members of the Hum Paanch cast had a mini reunion at the silver jubilee celebration of Zee TV.
Bina (Shoma Anand), Meenakshi (Vandana Pathak), Kajal bhai (Bhairavi Raichura) and Radhika (Vidya Balan) reunited after 20 years to take some iconic pictures.
And to make up for Sweety and Chhoti missing the reunion...
