Listen up, everyone! If you haven’t heard of Miles Morales, we need you to DO 👏 BETTER👏.

Miles is the new Spider-Man, and he’s kind of a super-duper big deal. So welcome to your crash course in Miles 101!

Miles Morales was first introduced in 2011 in the comic Ultimate Fallout #4.

And he will FINALLY be making his movie debut in Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, only in theaters December 14!

Miles is your typical 13-year-old living in Brooklyn attempting to survive middle school.

OH! And he just so happens to get bit by a weird spider that gives him super Spidey powers.

And did we mention he lives in an alternate universe?

It may look and sound the same as ours, but it’s definitely different.

Crazy, right? Turns out there are a BUNCH of universes, each with their own Spider-Heroes....BUT BACK TO MILES!

At first, Miles is reluctant to take on the responsibilities of a superhero. He’s 13 for crying out loud! But with the proper mentor (*cough* Peter Parker *cough*), he embraces his destiny.

Miles also has some unique Spidey powers that we get to see for the FIRST TIME, including the ability to camouflage and match any surrounding.

Speaking of firsts, Miles is the first bi-racial Spider-Man to hit the big screen!

With a Puerto Rican mother and African American father, Miles is the first African American Spider-Man and the second Hispanic Spidey.
