This bar has a more casual dinner and drinks vibe. Speaking of, you should definitely try the delicious Italian and French-inspired antipasto, which tastes even better when you’re a bit tipsy. It's located in the quiet part of Northbridge, perfect for a more chilled out night.

With a big wine list that is bound to impress everyone, you’ll feel really classy in this elegant bar for only the elite wine drinkers (just kidding, novice wine drinkers are more than welcome). With it’s dark leather interior, you’ll be getting plush, I-just-signed-a-big-business-deal vibes.

Not only is the food amazing (think triple-cooked potatoes), the wine menu will leave you SHOOK. With a mixture of a sweet and dry selection, you’ll also love the tunnel-like, open brick aesthetic.

One of our favourite spots in Perth, Peteition is serving us refined, modern looks. If you’re sick to death of your regular glass of wine, why not get a wine-based cocktail instead? We recommend the Sunburnt Spritz. This is a great place to go with some work colleges after the day is through and you just want to unwind.

You’ll find it’s a little on the pricy side, but it's great for a birthday dinner or for when you're feeling a little special. You’ll find the wood-panelled ceiling and brown leather booths work well with the overall warm décor.

7. Must Wine Bar in High Gate.

Just got your paycheck? Head over to the Must Wine bar and enjoy cocktails with the girls (the gin-based Welcome to the Jungle will get you tipsy in no time). But don’t forget to try their red wine that mostly comes from the vineyards of Italy or the homemade rosé from our very own Margaret River! Keep in mind, it’s more of a sit down and enjoy with a meal joint.

8. Strange Company in Fremantle.

What goes well with wine? You guessed it, cheese! You’ll see an amazing selection of delicious cheeses on their menu along with desserts and other food to share with friends (or hog to yourself). The wine list is a huge four pages long, but don’t skip the cocktails on the last page either! Buy the bottle or by-the-glass and get delightfully tipsy at this lush and sleek bar.

A smaller bar with an eccentric, colourful vibe, Ronnie Nights is a popular spot in Fremantle where all the wine drinkers come to chat and enjoy the friendly laidback atmosphere. We would say this bar has more of a hipster vibe than the others, with different variations of craft beer if wine isn’t your thing. Who doesn’t love sipping on a white spritzer on a hot summer evening?

10. Tiny’s Bar in the CBD.

With modern, wooden décor, you’ll find plants dotted around this bar to give it an open and naturalistic vibe. This is more for a sit-down meal with family or friends, serving big portions of roasted meats (that go great with a red wine) and offering regular functions such as live music. Don’t you dare miss the happy hour ($6 till 6 p.m).

Boasting the slogan “Perth’s most zen bar”, this joint really lives up to their brand — with exposed brick walls, wines hanging from the ceiling and low hanging lightbulbs that add a rustic feel to it all. They have a wide selection of Australian wines to choose from that go down nicely when paired with their beef burger or delicious gnocchi.

Contrary to its name, this chic and cosy bar definitely looks like anything but an old laundry. Serving breakfast lunch and dinner, it’s not only wine that they specialise in. Buy a bottle of the old laundry rose sangria for a good time, or try their delicious cocktails with one of their desserts (we recommend Mama's donuts — rose cream, mandarin pistachio…who knew a donut could be so classy?).

The Mexican meatballs are a favourite tapas, or try the mouthwatering cheese board, which will keep you happy and full throughout the night. This is a rustic bar where you can sit down and have a nice family meal, or get completely tipsy with your friends. Choose your own adventure!

14. And finally, Halford Bar in the CBD.

Serving us cosy 1950s elegance, this is a basement safe room with seriously cool vibes. Open until late, you will feel like you’re a sultry movie star in the fifties, sipping on your champagne. Great for a fun night out with friends, this joint serves mostly local wine from Margaret River (which is fine with us!).
