Ranveer Singh Doesn't Speak A Word In The "Padmavati" Trailer, But I Want Him

I think I have a problem.

Today's the blessed day that the Padmavati trailer was finally released online at 13:03.

Fun fact: 1303 was the year that the Siege of Chittorgarh took place, when Allaudin Khilji took over the Chittor Fort from the Guhila king Ratnasimha, after an eight-month long battle.

The trailer opens on the Chittor Fort welcoming Maharawal Ratan Singh and his queen, Padmavati.

Shahid Kapoor really pulls off the regal swagger of a Rajput.

And watching Deepika all decked up reminds us of who she really is — a queen.

Their romance seems to be pretty alive and kicking and all is hunky-dory in the kingdom.

Of course, Padmavati is second to her husband because well, patriarchy.

Let's be real though, the man of the hour is Ranveer Singh a.k.a. Alauddin Khilji.

A battle is brewing, ladies and gents, and honestly I'm pretty sure it's for who the hottest man in the movie is.

And sure, there's some bare-bodied Shahid there to tempt us...

BUT there is no denying that His Highness Khilji is here to turn us all into bad-boy-loving fools.

And boy, he must be a Lannister 'cause HEAR HIM ROAR.

Someone stop me from wanting to be devoured by a villain.

If only that throne were my lap.

I'M REALLY HERE FOR THIS MENACING MANIAC. SAVE ME.

Is it TOO MUCH to ask for this narcissist to blow kisses at me instead?

Isn't it SLIGHTLY problematic that I want to tenderly wash his wounds?

Watch the trailer here to feel the tingles:
