The game was introduced to me by one Miss Kelly Sharp and goes as follows; combine the first/last name of a celebrity with the first/last name of another celebrity. Example: Diana Ross + Ross Geller = Diana Ross Geller. The results are invariably hideous.

New 'Jascha--The Future' Music Video

I'm really digging this music video for 'The Future' from Jascha's new album. It's both beautiful and completely depressing, which is sort of perfect as the song is about lost love and based on the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. Orpheus, the great musician and poet, must walk up from the underworld with the ghost of his love trailing behind him. If he emerges without looking at her, she'll be resurrected. But if he turns... well, you'll see.

NASA's Amazing 'Blue Marble' Hi-Def Photo Of Earth

In January, NASA released what it called “the most amazing high definition image of Earth – Blue Marble 2012.” The image was taken aboard the Suomi NPP satellite and is a composite image made from a number of swaths of the Earth’s surface taken on January 4, 2012. I think I can see my house down there!

Bodega Cocktail Challenge

THE BODEGA COCKTAIL CHALLENGE: Make a cocktail out of mini bottles of booze and ingredients purchased from a bodega. This game was inspired by Broke-Ass Stuart's reportage for our friends at The Bold Italic on bodegas in San Francisco who are packaging ingredients for DIY cocktails. Not to be outdone by California, we thought we'd try our hand at some bodega mixology. The results were... interesting.
