This "Star Wars" Fan Got Oscar Isaac To (Literally) Sign Off On A FinnPoe Endgame

"Fully endorsed" via a signature on a poster, anyway.

Madeline, a 16-year-old from New York, recently went straight to the top to get an endorsement for her favorite Star Wars ship — FinnPoe. That is, she went straight to actor Isaac Oscar himself.

When Madeline saw that the actor would be appearing on Live With Kelly and Ryan only 40 minutes from where she lived, she didn't let the fact that she couldn't find a ticket to the show stop her. The teenager decided to try her luck and wait outside for him.

"There were two others outside waiting who said they saw him go in but security was being really strict and so I was a bit discouraged," she told BuzzFeed News. "But luckily once he knew fans were waiting he came outside with no security and couldn’t have been nicer."

Then she got him to, quite literally, sign off on her poster that read "FinnPoe is endgame." The actor autographed the sign and added that it was "fully endorsed."

According to Madeline, when Isaac saw the sign, "He chuckled and said, 'Nice.'" She asked him if he would sign it so it would be endorsed by him and he said out loud “fully endorsed” as he wrote and underlined the phrase.

"To me, that’s the best part," said Madeline. "He didn’t need to write that; he just recognizes what the pairing means to people."

In case you haven't seen or aren't familiar with the latest Star Wars films, John Boyega's Finn and Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron have become a favorite "couple" among fans.

And the actors themselves have even discussed their characters' undeniable onscreen chemistry.

Madeline is, no surprise, a pretty big supporter of the ship.

"I’m a humongous Star Wars fan, always have been. My father introduced it to me when I was little because he’s a fanatic as well. When The Force Awakens came out, I fell in love with the new characters and adopted FinnPoe as one of my favorite ships. I’d love to see them become canon because it’s just natural."

She shared the images via Twitter, announcing that she had indeed truly "peaked."

"I've seen people texting their families about it, sneaking online at work to check out the story. I know what it means to people, and it makes me so freaking ecstatic that I was able to bring people a little slice of joy."

As part of the LGBT community, she hopes to see real LGBT representation in future franchise films.

"Finn flirts with Rey in the first movie quite a bit. I’m bisexual, and it would mean a great deal to me to see a bisexual character portrayed onscreen."
