Yesterday, Hailey was feeling grateful and decided to share some positive vibes with her fans on Instagram: "Taking time to really be grateful for the smallest things in life goes a very long way for your soul. Never hurts to remind yourself to have gratitude, even for the littlest of things."
"The smallest things in life will make [you] happy if you let them." Honestly, this is some damn good advice that I need to listen to myself.
But, instead of appreciating her words of wisdom, one person decided to undercut the model's message. On a fan account that shared Hailey's video, one user teased, "My husband is worth 265 million but it's the little things that make me happy ha ha ha."
Hailey saw the comment and wrote back, saying, "Money doesn't = happiness. At all. You can be the wealthiest person in the planet and be miserable."
She continued, "Not fair to judge people's circumstances from the outside...am I not allowed to be grateful to sit in the sunshine and enjoy my day like a regular person?"
So, there you have it: 1) don't judge people and 2) learn to appreciate the little things. Keep up the positive vibes, Hailey!
