Last night, Chrissy Teigen accidentally broadcast her email address to her 11.7 million Twitter followers.
*Insert Homer Simpson's "D'oh" sound here*.
It all started when Chrissy tweeted her Bring the Funny costar Amanda Seales about the outfit she wore on the show's finale. She included a pic of her screen...which also happened to feature her email address.
She quickly deleted the tweet and even acknowledged the flub, writing, "Fuck I posted my email address lmao."
But the damage was already done. Her followers began FaceTiming her.
For one lucky fan, though, Chrissy decided to answer their call.
She and her mom, Pepper, chatted with a very polite fan named Ricardo, who introduced himself and asked how they were. Chrissy replied, "We're good. We're about to eat dinner, but just thought we'd answer one of these. Nice to meet you!"
Chrissy shared the interaction on Twitter and was BOMBARDED with calls. But she seemed to take the whole incident in stride, laughing at the situation she had put herself in.
Not even an hour after sharing her email, Chrissy disabled and changed everything, telling her fans, "I love you guys and thank you for the kind words, lol."
FWIW, this isn't the first time Chrissy's done this. Apparently, she accidentally published her phone number in her cookbook, which, ya know, isn't great.
Honestly, I'd probably do the same. I'm always accidentally oversharing, but I'm not a celebrity and the only person who calls me is my mom, so I'm in the clear.
Anyway, this has been your Chrissy Teigen update for the day. All hail the reigning queen of Twitter.
