Adam Levine's Apology For Mistakenly Slamming MTV Is Way Too Real For People Who Hate Admitting They're Wrong

Foot in mouth! Foot. In. Mouth.

Let's get straight to the point, shall we? Adam Levine. You know him.

Yesterday, the Voice judge took to Instagram to share his complete and utter disappointment with MTV for not nominating Childish Gambino for a VMA for "This Is America."

In a now-deleted post, he wrote, "I'm sure [Childish] doesn't care that he wasn't nominated for a VMA because he's cool as fuck and everything. But I care. Because I'm NOT that cool."

"And I still want MTV to mean something again. But it won't. Ever."

Kind of nice of Adam to support a fellow musician, right? Exceptttttt, as it turns out, Childish did receive a nomination. Seven, in fact. Almost three weeks ago when the nominations were first announced...

Adam quickly realized his mistake and updated his response, claiming that he had "bad intel." But, his intel didn't get any better because he only mentioned one nomination???

So, he deleted that tweet too and wrote ANOTHER response — one that acknowledged all of Childish Gambino's nominations, as well as included a full apology to MTV.

"Still hate you though." — Me, literally every time I have to apologize, even if I'm wrong.

Check yourself before you wreck yourself, people!!!

But, wait! There's more!! I did some digging and it turns out that Adam has been bashing MTV FOR YEARS. Here's what he tweeted in 2011...

    ...and 2012...

    ...anddddd in 2013.

But hilariously, here's what he tweeted in 2014, just a few weeks before Maroon 5 took the stage to perform "Maps":

    LMAOOOO. I see you, Adam!

Watching for a shady MTV tweet like...
